Each year for my mom's birthday, I make her a book of all the blog entries from that year. It's like a yearbook. My girls love reading and remembering what the previous year brought our family. It's always surprising to me to see how much everyone has grown. I love that my mom is the proudest Nana to ever live. She rocks the grandparent job! SO...as we were flipping through the new book, I noticed that I never blogged about the twins' baptism...can you believe that?! I felt so bad. That event HAS to be in "The Book".
My girls. Like, seriously, they are the cutest!
May 10, 2014. How cool they were able to be baptized on their actual 8th birthday. This day was freezing cold! Snowy and windy. That's Nevada weather for you.
Leah and Daddy
Anna and Daddy
Roylance Family. The program was beautiful. Raychel played the opening and closing hymn. She had worked so hard for months to be able to do this. She had been so sick two days prior...even missing a piano recital. She pulled it together for sissy's baptism. She played Come Follow Me and Choose the Right flawlessly. Anna and Leah's piano teacher, Emily, played the prelude and postlude music. Mitchell gave a wonderful talk on baptism and the Holy Ghost. Nana and Grandma offered the prayers. I love baptisms. I feel so proud that my girls have chosen to be followers of Jesus Christ. I can see their commitment to the covenant they have made.
Custom cakes from my talented friend, Katy.
I absolutely LOVE this picture. Anna and Leah's smiles are the sweetest, but look at how Raychel is looking at my mom. Eyes full of adoration. This weekend, they picked their own card for Nana's birthday. I told them they had to write something heartfelt...not just plain old "Happy Birthday". Raychel started crying thinking of the reasons she loves Nana. I love the bond those two share.
I LOVE MY GIRLS!
Totally "them"
Here is a close up of the gorgeous AND delicious cakes. They each had their own cake and cupcake dress. I made that "super cool" number 8 wreath for the door. Ha!

Love my girls! Also glad that Angry Turtle will be in the book! :)
Great Memories! I kept thinking, "Won't it be neat when your kids can read these posts to their kids." I am not wishing that time to come any too soon, I just think what you have shared in your blog is such a blessing for many generations to come.....Also, I love the black dress/outfit you have on. You look amazing! I know this was almost a year ago....but still, you look amazing!
