Fresh and New

I have always wanted some Easter lilies, and this year I decided to get some!  I love the way they smell!  The scent matches the flower...fresh, clean, and subtle.
I was doing dishes and noticed the flowers lined up perfectly with my picture of the Savior.
Yesterday, the day before Easter, our tree started blooming!  I love when the pink buds start to appear.

I didn't have time to take any pictures before church...I accidentally pushed the "off" button on my alarm clock instead of "snooze".  I notified everyone we would be taking pictures after church, and no one was happy about it.  This was as good as it got.  Anna and Leah will humor me and pretend to be happy.  Raychel is a different story.  This was the only picture she looked semi happy in.  Oh well, I take what I can get!

I'm thankful for the Savior and His sacrifice.  I love watching the changes of spring...how the world becomes fresh and new again.  The blessings of the Atonement make my life fresh and new.  I'm thankful that the Savior "gladly bore" my burden.  "He bled and died to take away my sin."  He lives.  His arms are always open to us, and "He will heal those who trust Him."
