Today is the last day of school before spring break. Anna and Leah really wanted to play a trick on all their friends and teachers. I thought it would be ok to participate in some mischievousness a little early. The joke: go to school and pretend to be each other. Of course, that is something you can only do as a twin, so you gotta take advantage! I was a little worried everyone would catch on because they look SO different to me! Their voices, the way they walk, talk and smile. I figured everyone would catch on fast and the joke would be over. To my surprise, they lasted two hours! I happened to be dropping Raychel off at school during the morning recess, so I wanted to pop in and see how they were doing. I got to see Anna's reading teacher's reaction to the reveal. It was so much fun because she was genuinely fooled! She said, "It's so funny because I said to her, 'you look a lot like Leah today.'" Leah held it together! By high school they will be pros! This morning as we were getting ready I told them they had to pretend like they were in a play and "stay in character". Anna says, "I need to be super cute and twirly today." Leah knew she needed to act a little more "shy". How special to have a twin sister!
They needed to match from head to toe. I love how they are just holding hands like "no big deal".
