First of all...before I get to the main point of this entry...this is what Anna colored today in Primary. We've been talking a lot about how Grant is going to go on a mission this year and what that means. They talked about missionaries in class today. She colored Grant (see on his name tag), and he's holding a "Book of Worman". He's ready to go and serve! I love cute little drawings, and I know I save WAY too many of them. I just can't get enough of their sweet handwriting and sincere little messages. That is one area I am a true "hoarder".
BIG news tonight!! Anna lost her first tooth! She's been wiggling this tooth for a LONG time now. She meets Nana everyday at school to have her wiggle it and see if it's ready to be pulled. Well, it's been ready for a while now. Anna just needed the courage to take the plunge. Thank goodness for Nana. There is NO way I will pull any of my children's teeth. I cannot deal with that feeling! Anyway, the reason she was crying was not because it hurt, but because she didn't want it to bleed. A chip off the ol' block. We're not too fond of blood.
It's out! Smiling through the tears.
Nana rolling up a tissue to stop the bleeding.
She saw it and was beyond excited! How cute is that smile!
Meanwhile, Leah was also sharing the joy of the occasion. Ha! Just a wee bit bitter with all the attention sissy was getting. She's like, "Everyone is just so 'expecting' with Anna." I think she meant "excited". ;-)
When they were turning down their beds tonight, I heard Anna jabbering excitedly about the impending visit from the tooth fairy. Leah goes, "Anna! I'm just exhausted hearing about your tooth! Geeze!" HAHA! Oh, I cannot wait for the teenage years!

How exciting for Anna! I can't believe they are getting so big. Leah's will come before you know it. I love how bitter she was with all the attention Anna was getting. Are you sure all those tears from Leah were bitter tears or was she just feeling the spitit? HAHA
And I love her picture of Grant. Too cute!
Okay, that picture of Anna in the bathroom simling--I HAVE to have one of those! So cute. I love how the rest of the night she referred to herself as "the girl with the missing tooth" or "the girl that just lost her first tooth" or "the girl getting a visit from the tooth fairy" the rest of the night.
I ADORE her. All of them!
How exciting for Anna! And sorry that teeth don't fall out at the same time even though they are twins! Ha ha I suppose its a good lesson to learn. Maybe the tooth fairy will bring something to share. ;o)
