They say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery...or some might say, imitation just rude, and you should think of original ideas. Take your pick. My friend, Tammy, used this poem on her birthday post for her son. I loved it! The poem is darling, and I love looking at all the pictures from the past six birthdays. So, I said it...I'm an un-original copycat!

Can't believe we've come this far! I said to myself, "This year I will not do a tear-jerker birthday blog." However, I still found myself getting choked up looking through these pictures. How blessed I am to be Raychel's mother. How grateful I am to Heavenly Father for sending her to me. I was visiting with my parents the other night. We were watching the girls play and giggle and dance around the backyard. I said, "When I'm old and my girls are grown, this is what I will miss and long for." I'd like to change the wording of the last line of the poem,
"Now my girl is six, she's as clever as clever. So I'd like her to be six now and forever."

Fabulous invites!! They are amazing!! I can't believe Raychel is 6 already.....seems not that long ago when we would read gossip magazines in the NICU and discuss good books to read!! Glad you are all in my life!!
Happy Birthday Rachel! You can't help but get choked up when you look at those pictures, Huh?!
Nice no tear jerkers. I freakin cried. Brat.
I'm so glad Raych is part of our family. Your girls are so lucky to have you for a mom! (And I'm so lucky to have you as my sister)
So true! Why do they have to grow up anyway? Sometimes I feel desperate trying to capture every moment and memory in my mind, on film, video, pictures.... That's all we can do I guess. She is so beautiful. A perfect little girl. Can't believe its already been 6 years!!! Yikes.
