Fast Bikes and Freedom

I told James I wanted to take a picture of him and Raychel together. He said to me "Do you want my happy face or my frustrated face?" I opted for the happy face. :-)
It was actually a gorgeous evening here tonight. Raychel got chilly, so she wrapped up in her most favorite blanket. Thanks Grandma Roylance!
Carter Rex, Anna really is the girl of your dreams. Doesn't "your Anna" look so cute holding that basketball?
Sparkler fun. No, I did not drug my children even though their eyes look like it! It's just the dang flash!

Well, Raychel has caught bike riding fever. She begs James everyday to take her out for a ride. Poor James gets a little frustrated though. Instead of pedaling, Raychel would prefer James to just tote her around the neighborhood. There are many tears when we have to put the bike away. Once her legs get a little stronger, she will be racing all over the neighborhood!

How did you celebrate your Independence Day? We had a fun time with friends, then came home to enjoy some sparklers in the backyard. The girls were completely in love with the fireworks and sparklers. Anna and Leah would say "WOW-WOW" after every explosion. That actually means "flower." :-) It's such a wonderful thing to be free. It's a great day to think about the blessings and privileges we enjoy as Americans.

She is starting to use his "real" name all the time now. Like today we got home from church and she was all "Where's James, mom?"
