No Shoes. No Shirt. No Problems!

Anna showing off her messy hands.
I must say that Leah was the one who had the most fun. Maybe she will be an artist. She was the official "body art" go to girl. She loved painting her sisters. She worked with such intense concentration.
Raychel the purist. She was staring at her hand because her red color choice got mixed with some yellow. Absolutely unacceptable. She is my girl that will only use ONE color when coloring a picture. She doesn't believe in mixing. :-) By the way, that's what a G-Tube looks like (feeding tube on her belly). "Carson City Ink"
When I saw this picture, I was thinking we should have painted Anna's belly orange to make it look like a pumpkin...ha ha!

For my friends who know me well, you know this was a challenging activity for me. Ali and big fat messes don't usually belong in the same sentence. I love our backyard for a few reasons. Mainly because it's pretty much completely shaded by 4 PM. It's a perfect time to play outside and get wet, but lazy mama doesn't have to worry about applying sunscreen to my pasty little girls. So yesterday afternoon, we were playing in the sprinklers, splashing in the Logan Pool, and throwing sand all over the place. I got this great idea to bring out some finger paints that I have had stored forever. The girls had the best time as you can see. Sometimes letting go of control and making a mess is a good thing!

Good for you Ali! Way to let go and have some fun. Looks like the girls really enjoyed themsleves. And the mess is nothing a hose can't fix!
