The lovebirds in 1977
My very best friend!

This was the day of my wedding. We were getting ready to leave for the Temple, and I asked my Dad to put this necklace on. We were all getting emotional about all the exciting changes that were going to happen. My dad could NOT get that necklace clasped! So it was a nice little tension breaker because we were all laughing at my Dad's "incompetance" with jewelery.
I just love my Mom and Dad! I just have such tender feelings towards my parents. Maybe it's because I am getting older. Maybe it's because I am a parent myself and understand the sacrifice involved in being a parent. I don't know, I just adore my Mom and Dad! I actually started this post because I wanted to play around with my scanner to see if I could adjust the size of the pictures better. Anyway, as I was looking through old pictures, I was just overwhelmed with good memories. I am so fortunate to have had the upbringing I did. My parents always loved me and they always loved each other. I love you, Mom and Dad. Thank you for giving me the priceless gifts that cannot be bought with money...stability, love, the Gospel, YOU! Blessings I am so grateful to pass on to my girls.

I feel the same way about Mom and
Dad.
I'm SO lucky to also have you as my sister for eternity! :)
Who knew your dad was so hairy in 1977!!!
Having children is definitely a "continuation of the lives" - an eternal blessing from Heavenly Father. It is through our families that we learn to experience the range of love and devotion that helps us to learn about our Heavenly Parents. We are so proud of our beautiful children. I love them more than words can say. Thank you Ali!
Ali, I adore your parents too.
Your family was the best part of my high school years. Your mom and dad did some of the best stuff with us, Your 18th Birthday in San Fran, Prom in Utah, Boomtown Family fun. I love them! I am so thankful that I got to be apart of that.
