Imagination

The characters of choice for this afternoon. Barbie baby on an elephant, Dora carrying twin siblings, Skipper's bike, and an Aurora wand.
Anna was saying "PRESTO!" in this picture.
I was in the front of the house and heard some "clacking." This is how I found Anna. She could totally walk in those shoes! HA HA! This time mermaid Dora was riding Skipper's bike.
Anna's motto: You must have the right shoes for every occasion! I hope she skips past the Brewer Bigfoot Curse!

Anna is beginning to play so good. She has a very active imagination. She loves to sit at the table and play with her toys. They all have conversations (only in a language Anna and the toys can understand). She sings all the time. A few of her favorites: The Wheels on the Bus, Twinkle Twinkle, ABC's, I am a Child of God. I only know these are the songs because I have learned to decipher some of the "Anna Language." Here are some frequently used phrases:
"I SUM!" means: I would like a bite please.
"Milt" Milk
"Eatle Eatle tar" Twinkle Twinkle Little Star
"Dorda" Dora
"Ah Daychel? Ah Dedah" Where's Raychel and Leah? This is what she says first thing when she wakes up each morning.
"A wint" I would like a drink please
She is cute and full of personality! By the way, Anna LOVES this Timbaland song! She can't get enough of it. She will dance and dance and dance!

Okay.

I'm totally dying laughing at work right now. "LOL-ing" if you will.

She is SO CUTE. She is always singing...I love it. She has such a sweet voice.

I do that thing with Anna and Leah where I go really slow and go "Gonna, gonna, gonna GETCHU GETCHU GETCHU" I love it because then Anna and Leah go "Duduh, duduh chi chi chi" It makes me laugh.

They're perfect :)

What a cutie! Lauren is not talking much at all. I love to hear those first words. Thanks for describing it. I can totally picture her saying that stuff.

Don't you love it when kids are happily playing on their own? Nothing better....
