As I mentioned earlier, I love the children's author, Kathy Mallat. She wrote a follow-up book to Mama Love. It's called, Papa Pride. I bought it for my dad a while ago because it fit so well with how the girls (this girl included!) feel about him. Here's the story...
We are Papa's pride and joy, his wildest dreams come true, his perfect little miracles...so innocent and new. We are Papa's pride and joy. We're always by his side. We're learning all we need to know with Papa as our guide. Papa's playful, and protective, and patient all the while. Papa's skillful, and instructive, and leads with strength and style. Papa is our pride and joy, the one that we adore. He's everything we want to be, and ever so much more. Papa is our pride and joy, our hero to the end. But most of all we're glad to have...our Papa as our friend.
I love you, dad!

I love those pictures!!!
We do have the best dad!
Remember when your dad got pulled over going really fast over that dip on college parkway for us in his big old truck. That was so funny!! I love your pops, Amy is right, you guys do have the BEST dad.
Cute pictures. You always do a great job getting some good ones. Your girls are so adorable. Who doesn't love your Dad? He is a great guy! Tell him I said Hello.
Yes, I remember driving that big ol' truck over that dip. Lindsay and Alison were goading me on, wanting to fly off the seat. So we did. And got stopped. The cop totally shamed me for driving recklessly with my precious cargo. I felt like a heel. But hey, what's life without a little risk and a few laughs? Of course Alison and Lindsay thought it was really funny. I love my girls and my boys and their families and friends.
