One of my favorite traditions my mom began when I was a little girl always started weeks before my actual birthday. She would alway begin by saying "Well, 5 (or how ever old we were going to be) years ago today..." I always loved hearing what she was doing, and what she was thinking just weeks/days/moments before I was born. I thought I would start that tradition with my girls. Since Anna and Leah's birthday is right around the corner, I thought I'd share exactly what I was doing two years ago today.
I was so miserable! I won't lie. I had just been cursed to bed rest. My blood pressure was super high, and I was bloated like a balloon. Thankkfully, my good family helped me get through the 4 weeks of bed rest. These were pictures taken when Marilyn came out to stay with me. Raychel loved this "horsey" game. I can't believe how much Raychel has grown in two years! When Grandma Roylance went home, our house was always the gathering place for dinner. I have fond memories of eating with my family and watching LOTS of A's baseball games. I became a true baseball fan during this time. I also LOVED salami and mustard sandwiches. I would eat one every morning at 10:00 and chase it down with a diet pepsi. Then follow up with 2 or 3 ice cream sandwiches (hey, I was eating for three...ha ha!).

So nice to see your precious children. You and I were in the same boat 2 years ago. Mine twins will be 2 in 2 days..can you believe it?
