My little Raychel is starting this phase where she is very afraid to be in the back of the house by herself. I ask her what she is afraid of and she tells me "the witch is gonna get me!" What witch? That awful, ugly one from Snow White. So today I had this idea...maybe if I hung a picture of Jesus in her room, she wouldn't be scared anymore. We hung the picture and below the picture we hung a sign that said "Jesus Christ LOVES Raychel. He will always keep me safe." She helped me type it on the computer. After we hung it all up, I said to her "what do you think?" She tells me "I feel much better now. Mom, I just gotta have faith." I am so hapy that she has such a desire to learn about Gospel related things. She has so much faith already! I just hope she continues to develop a relationship with her Heavenly Father and Savior...especially as a teenager! She's such an example to me! Now...Anna and Leah couldn't go ignored. Anna sees Raychel's picture and says "Ye-Ya Cry!" Translation: Jesus Christ! She kept saying "Ye-Ya Cry!" and pointing to her room. Everyone got hooked up with a picture today! :-) I love that they know where to turn for peace.
When you wake in the morning, think of what a precious privilege it is to be alive- to breathe, to think, to enjoy, to love. -Marcus Aurelius
