The book "The Three Javelinas" is a rendition of "The Three Little Pigs." The Javelinas are trying to out smart a coyote instead of a big, bad wolf. Leah's class read "The Three Javelinas". They were then were assigned to write a letter to the coyote presenting a plan on how to catch the Javelinas for a delicious meal. This was Leah's plan...with a little translation.
Dear Coyote,
My name is Leah. I'm going to help you catch a Javelina. Here's my plan. First, get a black soot (suit) and white shurt (shirt). Get it at a church stor. And black shous (shoes) and a black book (Book of Mormon). Pracktis (practice) standing up so you look like a mishunary (missionary). I think my plan will work. Last knok on the door and eat him up. Have a delishis (delicious) meal. Have great luck. Don't forget chilly sos (chili sauce) mmmm. That is my plan. Oh and if you follow my steps your going to have a dilishis meal.
Your Friend,
Leah
Moral of the story: If you want a "dilishus" meal, dress like a "mishunary".
