Nine years ago in a galaxy far far away, this little creature came into my universe. Beautiful, she is. Kind, she is. Proud, she makes me.
Raychel has somehow developed a love for Star Wars. I have NO idea where this stemmed from, seeing that I have no interest in this level of nerd entertainment. BUT...what my girl wants, my girl gets. What's a Star Wars party without light sabers made from pool noodles.
The delectable menu: Darth Dogs, Droid Chip and Dip, Vader Veggies, Light Sabers, Edible Ewoks, Hans Rolos, and Wookie Cookies.
For the thirsty Jedi's.
Princess Leia's hair made an appearance.
Nate went home and told his mom this was the-and I quote- "Party of the year." Yes, I was quite puffed up with pride from that compliment.

Mom finding something to pick.
The Jedi's had several challenges to complete at the training camp. First, they had to use their light sabers to keep the death star AKA black balloon from touching the ground. Second, they had to dodge asteroids AKA candy wrapped in aluminum foil. Third, they had to rescue the REAL Princess. She was trapped in one of 40 black balloons. They had to pop them all to find her. Finally, they had to complete an obstacle course. Here Raychel is shooting at one of the storm troopers.
I just LOVE this girl!! She's a real individual. I love that she marches to her own beat and doesn't get sucked in to what everyone else thinks is cool. She's a good girl and a blessing in my life.
