Happy Halloween!

It's very rare for James to want to celebrate.  However, when he gets an idea, he goes all out.  None of this half-sie stuff for him.  Recently the girls have been obsessed with the movie "Despicable Me".  James thought it would be a good idea for us to have a family themed costume this year.  Below is our inspiration...

These were my treats to the trunk-or-treat party.
Leah as Agness..."It's so fluffy, I'm gonna die!"
 Anna as Edith

 Raychel as Margo

 The Despicable Roylances
 Gru and his girls
Here are some pictures from "The Littles" party.  Tammy graciously offered to have the party at her house this year.  Here's my little guy, Colin.
Despite his smile-less face, he really was excited to be there!
 Sleeping Beauty Ellie
 Grady

 Cutest Little Cowgirls

 The little garden gnome, Ava
"And I'm done with this hat"
 Craft time!
Oh, how I love to torture little children!

 NiNi enjoying some lunch
 Rivka and Mom

Play time with Halloween jams in the background.
NiNi and Rivka remind me SO much of my twins.  I love watching them because it brings back so many memories of Anna and Leah.  Twins have such a sweet and unique bond.  My mom says that (at school) Anna and Leah will always kiss each other when they part ways.  Gets me all choked up!  These girls don't like to be too far from each other either.  It's so special they will always have a best friend.

 Polly Pockets in shoe cars
Grady with the two loves of his life: the swing and his slippers.

"Ellie, give me a princess smile!"

 Ava was one happy girl!

I think these were worth the tears!
My car neighbor at trunk or treat had the brilliant idea to skip the real Halloween festivities and go to a movie.  I thought that was the best idea ever, but I was worried the girls wouldn't bite on it.  I was totally wrong!  They loved the idea of a family date night.  Pizza, movies and friends...WAY better than more candy we won't eat.

I love how little girl-friends will hold hands and hug.  I also love their conversations and finding out what they think is funny.  There were lots of giggles and silliness during the car ride.  I hope we do this again next year!

I don't know why I'm so in love with the picture of all of you in your costumes. It's maybe my top 5 of your family pictures. They turned out GREAT! But with 3 darling girls, anything is cute
