Does anyone else remember this glassware? A few weeks ago, I went and saw the movie The Help (side note: fantastic movie...even better book). The story takes place during the 1960's in the deep south. During the bridge party luncheon scenes, I noticed they were drinking their iced tea from glasses like this. Instantly, I remembered being a little girl and stealing sips of ice water from my dad while he was drinking from one of these beauties. It was like my green colander...had to have them! I did some research for a good hour, and figured out these are glasses from the "Indiana Whitehall" collection. I made my bid on ebay, and voila! They're all mine. We're going to try them out tonight with some lemonade. I love old crap!

I just finished this book and can't wait to see the movie! How was it? Its funny you mentioned it. As I was reading I kept thinking, "I need to get this book and send it to Ali." Should've known you are way ahead of me in the latest and greatest books out there.
