How Did This Happen??

How did my girls manage to grow up and go to "big girl" school? I can't believe this day has finally come! Anna and Leah started kindergarten, and Raychel started 2nd grade today. Everyone was totally excited this morning. I wish that attitude could continue through the school year. Here are some pics from our morning. Miss. Leah. She chose this lovely ballerina ensemble to wear, and she chose a ladybug backpack.

Anna is rockin' the stunna shades shirt. She chose an Ariel backpack.

BFF's

Well, as you can see, I'm really starting to "let go" in the fashion department. This Hello Kitty shirt would have never made it to our closet two years ago...let alone a first-day-of-school outfit! See what a "cool" mom I am. haha! Raychel HAD to have this shirt, and peace signs are her latest obsession right now. She's so big!

This is totally a "who farted?" face.

All ready to go! Yes, the "blinking bandit" made an appearance in all 17 pictures I took. This was just going to have to do.

Something/someone is missing here...Brookie. So sad to not have our buddy to walk with us this morning.

So glad to have nana close by!

Mrs. Henrie...fun fact: She was Grant's second grade teacher too!

Anna and Mrs. Crozier

Leah and Mrs. Steele.

The 2011/2012 school year has officially begun!

How are they all so big with their own tastes and own opinions?! Why aren't they still crawling around drooling on things and calling me "Dog"?! They're growing up to be such beautiful, happy, loving, PERFECT (in my eyes hahaha) girls!

So fun! I hope they had a great day. Fun Fact: Mrs. Crozier is Gracie's BFF Lexie's Grandma!

sooo stinking cute. I have to agree with you in the older kid fashion department. I allowed Tyler to pick out his new school clothes and he also chose a Character shirt to wear on the 1st day. I too let go of my control and let him make his own choices when it came to first day outfit and he wore his "Tom and Jerry" shirt loud and proud. isnt it fun watching our kids grow up. te twins are adorable and so pinchable for sure. I love how you placed them in different k classes. youre such an awesome mommy. enjoy your school year.
