This day we went on a mountain bike ride. Let's just set the scene: I have not ridden a bike since I was approximately 14. Let alone ride a bike on some steep mountain trail in 115 degree heat. Well, it wasn't 115 degrees. It was probably 87 degrees, but when you add that suffocating humidity, it adds a whole new level to the word "hot".

This Island is the smallest land mass owned by two governments: French and Dutch. Our tour guide took us down a stretch of road. He said, "This side is French and this side is Dutch. If you wanted to make a call to Paris from from the French side, it would be considered a local call. If you wanted to call across the street to the Dutch side, it would be considered an international call." Crazy!

This is where our bike ride took us. This was the most beautiful beach I have ever seen. The sand was so soft and fine. The water was the perfect temperature. I just walked up and down the beach with a huge smile on my face. I enjoyed every second being there. It was perfection. Totally worth the sweaty bike ride. haha!

Again, I would have loved to see you on a bike. Did you at least stay away from curly handle bars and fences? haha
