My regret...I forgot my camera. Grrrr. That makes me so mad! Thankfully, I had my cell phone. Here we are at the trail head.
Following the leader.
Raychel said, "Mom, those flowers are gorgeous! You need to take a picture because they are your favorite!" It was all she could do to leave them be. My girl loves picking bouquets of flowers for me. Daddy and his favorite ladies. So our girls will have nightmares this week about...mountain lions. On the way back to the car, James was telling the girls about all the big, hungry mountain lions that live where we were hiking, and how they love to eat little girls. THEN we saw a dead rabbit. He told them that the mountain lion had gotten a hold of that rabbit, and was coming back later to finish eating his dinner. We'd walk a few steps and James would shake a bush a growl really loud to try and scare everyone (which it did scare everyone). Anna turns around and goes, "Knock it off, Dad. I know you're just tryin' to scare me." Miss. 'Tude. The whole ride home was mountain lion conversation and questions. Finally, James says, "Your Papa loves mountain lions. He knows all about them. You'll have to be sure and ask him all those questions." HAHAHA! I'm sure Papa will be so glad James deferred all questions to him!

That is darling! I've done that little hike - it's just the right length and the views are great. Your girls are so cute...and I love the way you capture their individual personalities so well.
James RULES!!! I miss that dude. We will have to come down and see you guys sometime.
Way to go James for breaking out of your shell and being spontaneous! Looks like a super fun hike. Perfect. I loved hearing how he tortures your girls. So like him to do that. Brian does the same thing. Why do guys always have to tease?
Yes, let's get together soon. "what's the plan?" ;o)
So fetchin' cute! I'm sure dad loved all those questions. Wonder if he'll tell them about the Moopeets? Hahaha!
