Love the gumdrop tree! You can read more about it by clicking

You thought I was kidding about
these "smiles".
ZELF the elf has made his annual appearance. If you don't have the book,
Elf on a Shelf, I highly recommend it. It's SO cute!

Since we were limited on 4X4 car space, Amanda and Jacob were the only ones to come with us for the tree cutting. Being a St. George boy, Jacob was loving all this white stuff!

There's that smile again!

This is all James here! I love his decorating skills. He brought this jar back from Holland for me. When we were shopping for Thanksgiving dinner, he found this candy corn in the Winco bins. He thought they would make a nice decoration in this jar. Of course we totally under estimated how many we needed to buy. He was creative enough to put a bag of powered sugar in the middle and pile the candy around it. He's seriously the cutest! Don't tell him that! :-)

I am loving the candy corn thing..and the jar!
James IS clever! I would've never thought of that, but now I'll know when I need to use that idea!
That picture of Raychel standing in the snow holding the snowball is absolutely stunning! I love that the background almost looks like it's black and white.
You are right, THIS is the most wonderful time of the year! Love all the Christmas traditions!
Wow! You got some great shots. I love those overcast snowy days. The lighting is perfect!
James is a sweetie! So nice of him to bring back something so pretty for you.
I miss the gumdrop tree. We need one of those.
WE also have the elf on the shelf, but ours is a lazy one. He always gets too tired and falls asleep instead of flying home to Santa. He makes the trip maybe once a week.... He totally sucks. Maybe we should trade him in for a new one.
I love this time of year...the pics in the snow are amazing. Hope your family is all well. Miss you guys. :)
