Debut

How lucky am I? I got a new camera! I'm so excited and SO intimidated. Wow. I have a monster headache as we speak...just from trying to figure out the very basics of this camera. Between James's technical know-how, and my "click on this/click on that" method, I think we have touched the surface. It's amazing what this camera and accompanying software are capable of doing. So, I took the camera out to the park for it's debut. I couldn't be more pleased with how the pictures turned out. I see lots of trial and error in my future.

Static-y slide hair.

BFF. So the other day, Raychel was telling me how a girl in her class was picking the sparkles off her (Raychel's) shoes. I said, "Tell her you don't like that." She said the girl wouldn't listen when she asked her to stop. I said, "Well, have Brookie tell her not to do that." Raychel says, "Yeah, because me-an-Brookie are 'BEF'". That's right, you never come between "BEF's".
Total concentration. I always loved the monkey bars as a kid. I usually had some nasty blisters on the palms of my hands. I see some juicy blisters in these girls future.

Slide train!
The other day, Anna was singing a song that she penned herself. It went something like this, "I love my mom, and my mom loves me very much. And kids should not act 'insame'". That's right kids, don't act "insame" (insane).

Gotta love those smiling faces!
Our "BEF" Brookie.

Oh my gosh. Those pictures are AMAZING Al! I'm now completely obsessed with that picture of Leah and Anna. And I love the picture of Raych and Brookie and the one or Ray Ray on the monkey bars. What 4 GORGEOUS little girls!

How fun! Maybe you'll just have to come down and take Abby's announcement pictures :)
