Today was a super special Saturday. We started the day with Raychel's first piano recital. Then we rushed home and celebrated Anna and Leah's 4th birthday. I must thank my friend, Tammy, for letting me borrow her amazing camera. I took over 200 pictures today. I love how fast it took the pictures. I have already made a request for my birthday (and anniversary, and Christmas, and any gift giving occasion this year) for my very own Nikon D80. That is why there are so many photos with this post.
My girl. Looking so grown up and beautiful. She played her songs very well. She even gave a little curtsy at the end. I'm so proud of her!
Miss LeeLee. She's doing the one-footed-fairy pose. May made the tutus (or toots as Leah calls them).
May said their hair pretties made them look like Lady Gaga. They took it as a compliment. :-)
Raychel and her piano teacher, Lisa Peterson.
It's always good to have your best friend by your side. Yvonne asked Brookie how Raychel did at the recital. She said "Good. Raychel won the competition." I hope they always share that special friendship bond with each other.
Nana and her girl. Nana bought Raychel a mini corsage to wear today. It was so cute and so perfect!
GG made each of the girls a quilt like this. The pieces are made up of all the blankets I used on the girls when they were babies. The back of Raychel's quilt is made from the blanket that James used when he held her for the first time.
Hanging out with GG before the part starts.
The party girls. Since this was a fairy party, we had to have a real fairy come! Thank goodness May is such a good sport.
May bestowed each girl with a "fairy name". After they each received their name, they went outside for a treasure hunt.

The Queen Fairy May granted the little fairies a wish. You made a wish and pixie dust was sprinkled on your head to make your wish come true. I love Raychel's face.
This is my cousin's daughter, Katie. I think she was the most enthusiastic party guest. She had this adorable little smile on her face for the entire party. Love that kind of innocent excitement!
Kylee showing off her 32 karat diamond found right in my backyard! Too bad I didn't find it first.
Anna with her pink cake. They are supposed to be cupcakes in case you were wondering what that blob was supposed to represent.
Thankfully they didn't care their Mom isn't a first class cake decorator (or even a third class decorator, for that matter).
A fellow preemie, Lexie.
Eva enjoying some Capri Sun.
I love how Anna is touching May here.
Leah was ALL ABOUT the presents. She loved opening her gifts. This a cute little dress from Brookie.
