A LOVEly Day

This year I thought it would be fun to have a little Valentine party for the girls. I let Raychel pick two friends and Anna and Leah each got to choose a friend. You will notice these pictures are WAY better than anything I would ever take. Hadley's mom, Lynda graciously offered to come and photograph the party.
The table.
We started out with a little lunch...heart shaped PB&J, Doritos and apples (Yeah, I went all out). This is Enye, Raychel's friend from school.
Anna enjoying her chips.

Leah and Jocelyn
Stack-a-HeartThe goal was to see who could stack the conversation hearts the highest.
Our other sister, Brookie.
Concentration.

The favors. Tammy made these darling crayon rolls and hair barrettes for each guest. The $1 lollipops from Target were my doing. Haha!

Dessert

Leah. Cupcake time!

Leah and Anna's friend, Hadley. Frosting is always the best part!

We read books about and talked about love.

Candy necklaces. I thought these beads were so cool. They looked just like conversation hearts. Bought them from Oriental Trading.

This is tricky. Our dear Nana lending a helping hand.

Hey, what's wrong with my hair?

Static twins. Luckily, it was a gorgeous day, so everyone was able to go outside and play.

Anna and Leah's friend, Jocelyn from sunbeams.

Classic Anna pose.

Good ol Jaders

The party animals. Hadley was too busy to stop and pose.

I think I may need to make this a tradition.

So cute! I'm sad I missed the party but the girls looked DARLING and it looks like it was fun. I love that picture of Hadley! Too cute :] And "Day-Duhs" looks so old! But it's a good picture of her! I'm glad she was included in the love discussion :] what a good mama you are!

Looks like tons of fun... Do you know what kind of camera Lynda has? Just curious.

Loved the pic of Jade too. Been wondering about her. She does look a little old I have to say. Darwin misses his big girlfriend. ;o)

Jossy had such a great time! Thanks for including her. I've been trying to think of an occasion that I can steal that idea - my kids would love to have a similar get-together & I would feel like the World's best mom for giving it to them. And I'm totally overdue for that feeling! HAhaha... Maybe keep your eyes peeled for a St. Patrick's Day invitation for A & L!
