It's OK To Laugh Now.

I pulled this little story from the archives. I totally remember this "event". The other day when I was reading it, I was laughing hysterically. Some things just get funnier over time. I certainly was not laughing when it happened!

Anna is like, "No photos please." This was the age of everyone when this little occurrence took place.

February 2008
So let’s see. Today was gorgeous outside. I decide to be a good mom and take my kids to the park. We get there. Instantly Leah falls off the slide. It was one of those falls where her body like folded in half…the wrong way. Ugh. Then Raychel poops her pants!!!! So let me tell you what a white trash mom I am. She is freaking out because she can’t deal with that feeling. Can’t blame her. I get a doggy poop bag they have at the park. Dig the turd out of her pants. THEN wipe her butt with a crusty, snot tissue I found in the bottom of my stroller. Who knows how long it had been there. That is “klassy.” Then drench my hands with 5 ounces of purell. We immediately came home. As we are walking home, she pees her pants!!!! UGH! So in the house directly in the bath. The end. My day.

Ohhhh! Don't you just love those days? Those are the ones you are never going to miss, but also glad you could experience because they are so hilarious (in hindsight of course). Thanks for sharing. You made my day.

I love a good belly laugh! Especially when it's not at my expense!! I probably would've said, "We WILL stay and play at the park and we WILL have fun, got it?!?!!" See, so you're a better mom than I.
