New sweater debut. This Christmas season, I had an epiphany. I have worn the same ugly sweater on Christmas Eve for 4 years now. It was one of those amazing clearance deals from Old Navy. I purchased it in May 2005 for $3.97. Can't beat it. I was trying to find a picture of myself wearing this sweater for each Christmas I've owned it. I decided I'm like Sasquatch. Rarely spotted in photos, and when captured in a picture, it's never that good. I may not have the "proof" of Christmases past, but trust me, this sweater was worn. So this year I thought I needed to splurge and get myself something "real nice" to wear (say "real nice" in your best Cousin Eddie voice...from Christmas Vacation). So here is the sweater I will be wearing for the next four years...found for $12.99 on the Gap clearance rack. Yes, I'm moving up in the world!
