This picture has nothing to do with this post, but I just don't like my entries without pictures. I'd rather look at an unrelated picture than nothing at all! So my girls must get their love affair with princess from me. This was me around 1980-something. I know I was going to a birthday party, and I felt like a million bucks! I just love my mother and her creativity. I know my parents had no money to buy fancy costumes, so she improvised. My shawl is a tablecloth, my tiara was won by my mom in her high school days (yearbook queen), my wand was made from cardboard and foil. I'm so glad she always took the time to make feel special!Today I'm making chocolate chip cookies with my girls and listening to Christmas music (Sarah M: Wintersong). I just love moments like this!
