Little Princess

Last night we were over at my mom's house. Leah found these dangly star earrings and a sparkly tiara. She HAD to wear both. The look on her face was beyond cute when she saw herself in the mirror. She just kept moving her head around to feel the earrings tap against her cheek. She kept saying, "I'm such a pretty princess." She HAD to wear this get-up at dinner too Raychel decided we needed some cashew chicken from"Bing Palace" (Beijing Palace). What made this situation even funnier is the fact that Raychel was completely mortified by Leah and her "need" to wear those earrings and tiara out in public. She was like, "Le-AH cannot wear that! People will stare at her and laugh at her! That's too silly!" When we pulled up to the restaurant, Raychel and Leah both wanted to hold my mom's hand. Raychel was not going to be seen next to her. Leah ate up every ounce of attention that was given to her. Like a polite little princess, she smiled and thanked her worshippers sweetly. I'm so thankful for these moments. I hope she always remembers she is a princess!

The funny thing is that you TOTALLY would have been embarassed if that were me wearing that out in public when we were that age. Wonder where Raychel gets it from :) You should get them the game Pretty Pretty Princess. They would love it!
