"Tenderness and kindness are not signs of weakness and despair, but manifestations of strength and resolution." Kahil Gibran
"Go get the boys!"
Love Raychel's face.
Anna was laughing like crazy.
"Sack of potatoes" Taylor was going back and forth between Anna and Leah in the swings.
Leah thoroughly enjoying her frosty.

*First of all, I apologize for the poor quality of the pictures. I know they are all blurry.*
Raychel says to me this evening, "Mom, can you please leave, so Grant can babysit us?" (Don't worry, May, she says that about you too.) I told her she had to call and ask him, but warned her he might be too busy. So, she called and left an extensive, articulate message inviting him over to the house. About 2 minutes later, the door swings open and in walks Grant and Taylor. The girls see them and instantly their faces light up. All sorts of squealing and jumping begin like they were two of the biggest rock stars on the planet. Grant and Taylor went outside and played and played.
My girls are so lucky to have men around them that love them and respect them. I'm thankful to Grant and Taylor for being so kind and respectful to my little girls. I know there are a lot of other things two 15 year old boys would rather do, but they were here tonight rolling in the grass, playing the "Bolt Game" (Bolt Game=Raychel riding on her scooter as someone chases her. She likes to be Penny.), "swinging higher" and tag. I love the quote at the beginning of this blog. Kindness is often viewed as a weakness (especially for boys) however, it truly speaks volumes for one's character. I hope that my girls will always remember what it feels like to be respected and treated kindly...especially when they enter the dating world. I'm glad they have these good examples of what a real man should be. What Grant and Taylor did tonight was not a small thing. It sets the tone for the future. As President Hinckley says, "When you save a girl, you save generations."

These pictures and your blog make me proud in so many ways. If I never did a good thing, I got the privilege of being a dad to be best children (and grandchildren) on earth. Obviously the girls were having a great time, but so were the boys. I'm glad these macho young men are confident enough with themselves to play like children and be the heroes little girls and boys need to have.
That is too sweet! I'm glad that Grant and Taylor are cool enough to hang out with your girls!
I was just thinking as I looked at these photos that grant and Taylor will make amazing husbands one day. What good kids. I Hope my boys can grow up to be just as compassionate, kind, loving, and confident as these two young men. What a wonderful evening for the girls. Creating memories along the way. beautiful ali simply beautiful.
I love it what good kids all of them. The pictures were adorable it looked like they were all having so much fun.
I love my boys! I'm so glad that they can take a break from their "busy" lives to play with my girls!
ps...They better say that about me! :]
What a great day!!! I am thankful for my brother in my girls' life also. He sets such a great example for them. We have long talks about what to look for in a husband (I know they are only 9 and almost 5) but I think it is important now. The most important is being kind (especially to them). I am so grateful for the good males examples in their lives.
You all are so lucky to live close to family..... How nice that they can stop over and play. Very nice!
