This weekend we had the honor and privilege of meeting and spending time with two General Authorities. Elder Bednar, of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles and Elder Gibson, our Area Authority. Both men were extremely gracious and kind. How grateful I am for this choice experience.
I'm so thankful to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I'm thankful for the peace and stability it brings to my life. I know the Savior lives. I'm thankful that families are forever. I'm thankful for a living Prophet to lead and guide us. I know these things are true.

I thoroughly enjoyed conference... Elder Bednar's talk was AMAZING! You are so lucky to have met with him. One Day, when he's the prophet, your girls will have a picture with him! did you get a picture with him? Did he stay at your paren'ts house? Were they freaking out?!
I really really wanted to talk with him. I was at Ricks when he was the president, and I said the same thing to a friend regarding signing the contract, if you don't like the rules you can choose another school. That friend and I are no long friends because of that. But that's OK with me cuz I stuck up for what was right! Anyway, I was so GLAD to hear that he and I were on the EXACT same page about the "rules of Ricks" with the same amount of
attitude!
I agree Ali. I didnt know how to express my inner most feelings on my blog im glad you were able to out reach others around you and share with them this amazing experience all of us got to be a part of. Tyler got to meet him during the fire drill an it was so cute to see his eyes light up and his enthusiasm for church has been his focal point all weekend. when you cut my hair ill have to share with you my inner feeling of this day/ weekend its was truly a beautiful Sabbath day.
It was good to read your testimony Alison!!! I too believe that families are forever....even with all I have been through. I am teaching that to my children, hoping that they will have faith in the Lord and his eternal plan. Beautiful post!
Wish I could have been there! I love the picture of the girls! It is so sweet how Anna is looking at them :)
That must have been amazing. Elder Bednar has such a strong presence about him. When I was at BYUI I got the privaledge of meeting with him in his office just me him and one other guy from the class I was interning for. I had to present a lesson to him that us interns had put together about Revencing Women talk about intimidating, but I will never forget about how I felt around him he really is a man of God and your testimony cant help but be strenthened just from being in his presence. So cool.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts and experiences, ladies! I loved reading them.
