Bye Bye Stitches!
Our dear friend, Kate, came out for a visit. Raychel had had the same band-aid on her face since the night at the ER. When I told her Kate was coming to visit us, she said, "Maybe Kate can take my band-aid off." Nothing like the touch of a "real" nurse! Last time with the blue stitches.
Dr. Pintar. She was being silly with Raychel. Raychel's face is like, "Yeah, yeah. Let's just do this."
All done and ready to go to school. She looks so grown up!
She looks very grown up! I still have pictures that appear on my computer when she came home from the hospital so little and I visited. ALso, when I came out when the twins were born. It is amazing how fast time flies. I need another trip. It has been waaay too long!!
Wow - she does look so grown up. I agree with Kate - it's the haircut and the Beatles t-shirt. It won't be long until she is grown up! What a tough little girl - she's been through it.
I ate lunch with Dr. Pintar today and she was saying how well versed and calm Raychel was. She was like, "She is a better patient than some of my 17 year olds! That Raych is a tough cookie like her mom!" And I added in "and like me" and she gave me "the look". So glad that Roo is so tough!!!
