"Tuttle" Time

My silly Anna girl!
Some pictures of "tuttling" past.

First day home from the NICU

Anna was awake most of the night last night. James and I have an agreement that he goes in to the girls in the middle of the night for a couple of reasons. 1.) The girls know they cannot "work" their daddy the way they "work" me. 2.) I have absolutely NO discipline at 2 in the morning. Whatever you want, I will give you. As long as you go back to sleep and be quiet!
So James went in several times with no success. I can usually tell when he is close to his breaking point by the way he sighs heavily and throws back the covers. At about 2:30, we reached the cover throwing/heavy sighs. I said, "I'll just go in." I go in and say, "What is it Anna?! What do you want?!" She goes, "I jus tuttle wif you, mama." Then she pats her bed for me to get in with her. How am I to refuse such a sweet gesture in the middle of the night? So I crawled in and we "tuttled". I am feeling it today, though! Stiff neck, headache, sore shoulder. However, I love those little moments with my girls.

That is so sweet! Just proof that she knows how to work you :) I bet she didn't try that with James.
What a good mommy you are!!

Take it from one who knows, you'll never regret taking the time or the sleepless nights to "tuttle" with the girls. I'm proud of you:)
