Leah was in no mood to humor me with smiles
"CHEESE!" Tonight we went over to my parents for a New Years Day dinner. My dad fried some of the fish that he and James caught in Alaska this summer. Fish really is the most delicious when it's deep fried and dipped in fatty tarter sauce. Delish. Of course we had to have the traditional southern side dish of black eyed peas (they bring you good luck for the new year). Raychel, Anna and Leah all put on a show. The show consisted of the three of them layering on a pound of lip gloss, shaking maracas, and singing "Feliz Navidad" loud enough for the neighbors to hear.
PS I have no idea why Leah's cheeks are so red. She has had bronchitis, so she has been on steroids and antibiotics. Maybe it's a combination of the meds?

I didn't know black-eyed peas on the New Year brought good luck. How about the day after New Year's day. We had them last night.

Those pictures crack me up...they were making me laugh that night. Everytime I go upstairs and see the red lipgloss on the carpet on the stairs it makes me laugh.
You forgot to mention that Raychel SCREAMED the song :)
