I have always been obsessed with babies and being a mom. Growing up, I loved playing "house." In fact, I was always involved in some ongoing (and very elaborate) story of "house." Cabbage Patch Kids were my number one wish from Santa each year. I would "bathe" my kids each night, and change their clothes everyday. I loved it. Strangely, my girls haven't really grabbed onto the doll thing. They are more into Barbies and Princesses. However, when I play with them, we play house (yes, I'm bossy). Usually they lose interest after a while, and go play dress up or something. However, sometimes I catch them playing mama, and it makes my heart melt!
Raychel dressed this baby all by herself. I saved all of Raychel's preemie clothes for this purpose. Their dolls are very well dressed.
Leah's face is so tender (she didn't even know I was there taking the picture)! She was singing "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" and rocking back and forth. Seriously, I had build ups!
Look how she is supporting the doll's head.
My little Roo. This was taken right before I had Anna and Leah. Her hair is so short because I had just cut off her "baby mullet."
She was saying "Shh, Shh" and rocking the baby.
Vintage Ali. This was my first baby. I loved this doll so much I bit holes in her cheeks every time I kissed her. I remember the day my dad threw her in the trash (scarred me for life). He said, "This thing stinks! We're throwin' it away!" He has softened with age. Nowadays, it would tear his heart out to throw out Leah's favorite toy. You know I love ya, Dad! :-)

That is sweet. Love your hair!!!
They are SO SWEET with the dolls! Raychel is already wanting to be a mom and babysitter. She tells me that she's the real babysitter everytime I'm over there :)
I love Vintage Ali :-)
They are so cute! Remember our "house" we set up in the garage on Connolly Dr? We actually got to try to sleep out there. I was fine until I heard the sirens :)
Darling! Leah's hair is getting so long. She is looking so grown up.
I agree with Lindsay. Love the vintage pictures. Did I tell you how much I loved the one of you and your mom at the sink? That is too precious. You are lucky that your parents actually took pictures when you were little. We have VERY few from growing up.
How sweet! I LOVED playing dolls when I was little and now, my little girl and my boys love playing with them.
Hey, I gave Rachel those lil' Valentine pants on her doll! =) It is amazing to think she was ever so small.
