Taking it out...

YAY! WHAT A BIG GIRL!!!!!

Big news! Raychel said good-bye to her button today! James and I had been feeling like it was time for a while now. We went in and saw the GI doctor this morning, and he gave us the green light. Raychel now weighs a whopping 31 pounds! She has proven she is a big girl by maintaining and GAINING weight on her own (if only I had problems gaining weight!) for a year now. I am so proud of my girl! These moments are always a little strange for me. I remember the day Raychel was taken off her O2, and I had that same feeling today when I was told I could take out the button. I start to get a little attached to these devices...like they become a part of her. Anyway, I was shaking my booty the entire way out of the doctor's office this morning!

I totally agree! Raychel has come such a long way, I am so excited for her, will she have a scar? She is one of the most amazing girls I will probably ever meet, I am honored to know such an amazing brave girl! I know she gets her strength from her momma :-)
