Mom and Ali...around 1982
From the archives...These pictures of Nana with my girls reminded me of one of my favorite shots with my mom. How blessed I am to have such a wonderful mother. She teaches my babies the same things she taught me. Life goes on and on!

Flipping pan-a-cakes

Anna could not wait for her turn!

Leah didn't really care to flip pancakes. Papa walked in the door, and that was all she cared about. When I got them up this morning, I said, "You guys want to have pancakes at Nana's?" Anna and Raychel were like "YES!!!" Leah goes, "No, I see PAPA!" She loves that guy for some strange reason. :-)

Grant is always such a good sport to play monster, sleeping monster, growling dragon, Maleficent, basically any villain the girls request. Here Anna is trying to save Leah from the grasp of something evil.
Thanks, Uncle Grant! He taught the girls to shoot headbands at butts today. They are quite proud of their new trick (and quite accurate). Well, Leah didn't learn. She was by Papa the whole time.
Ready! Aim! Fire!
Ready to eat! Today we went for a Saturday morning breakfast with Nana, Papa, Grant and May. Raychel's new obsession is "pan-a-cakes." (The Lehi Roller Mills brand.) As soon as everyone got up, we loaded in the car (with jammies, messy hair and bad breath) and went to Nana and Papa's. The whole morning I was just so filled with joy. I am so blessed to have so much love surrounding me and my little family. I kept thinking about this song. It always makes me happy when I listen to it.
"...to be here with the ones who love me
to love them so much it hurts
I am so blessed!"

Breakfast was so much fun today! Love my little babies...you forgot to mention the serious hand burning accident that Raychel endured haha!
We should do breakfast more often...it'd be fun.
You are so lucky to be close to your family. The girls will be so blessed because of it. You have a great family!
