Images of Christmas Past...
Our First Christmas as a Family 2004. The background is the lovely Washoe Med NICU.
Do you ever have those days/weeks/months where you feel like you have the worst case of ADHD? That's how I have felt lately. There just seems to be so many unfinished projects in my life. I always get these dumb catalogs in the mail...especially at Christmas time. The other day I got one, and inside it had a tee shirt that said, "It's not that I have ADD it's just that...Oh look! A bunny!" I was totally laughing because that's how I have been feeling lately. Of course my girls don't help my current mental state. I will be working on one thing then have to stop because Anna has taken a tube of hot pink princess toothpaste, squeezed out the entire tube and rubbed it into the carpet. Leah's been sick, so I have to stop whatever I'm doing to give a breathing treatment. When I get side tracked, I have a hard time remembering what it was I was doing. That's how the piles begin. You get the idea. So that's what this post is going to be...just a bunch of random stuff!

Also, I can't get enough of my Josh Groban Christmas CD right now. My mom and I were the biggest nerds last year. We were at Best Buy the day it was released...at the beginning of October! We started listening to it right away. His voice is just perfect

Funny! I can just hear you saying, "MmmmmHmmmm."
I know how you feel with ADHD. I think all moms have it to one degree or another. I think its better to have this problem than to be like a man and not be able to focus on more than one thing at a time. ;o)
Oh Ali! O Holy Night is my favorite Christmas song and I heard Josh Groban's version on 106.9 the other night and it gave me chills. I absolutely love it. My work computer never let's me hear your songs and today it did.
I feel your pain. I am really bad about getting up in the middle of the night and making list's of what I need to do so I will remember. I am so forgetful these days.
I love the Christmas pictures. I still can't get over how itty bitty Raychel was!
Love the Christmas pictures! James takes pictures just like Derek.
I am also right there with ya on the ADHD thing. That is exactly how I fell right now and I know you can sympathized because you were doing what I was doing last year!
I am laughing at the "go lay down and I'll change you"! Thats a classic saying at our house too.
I miss you so much! It keeps getting worse. We need to get together soon! James doesn't happen to like hiking does he....? :)
Ali - I love your blogs and all the memories they stir with the pictures to match. I had to laugh at the thought of you majorly gagging while cleaning up a good barf. Sorry you don't have a more exotic heritage - just imagine your ancestors in some oil-field shack in Oklahoma with a cedar tree they poached from somebody's farm. It would be surrounded by a raucus group of folk with a beer in one hand and a smoke in the other. People who weren't high on the scale of class and couth, but who loved one another and did the best they could. I'm glad you've at least made it out of the shack!
