Country Girl
As I was deciding the pictures I wanted to post, I remembered these pictures from 2006. We had gone to Cal-Expo, and Raychel was dying to ride a horse then too! I thought it was so funny how so many of the shots were the same. I love father/daughter bonding. I love the way James is looking at Raychel in these pictures. I love how she looks and feels so safe with Dad close by.
Those of you that know my James well, know that he doesn't usually smile like this unless he is really happy. It just goes to show you that when your children are happy, you are happy!
I love how they caught a glimpse of each other here.
As we were driving home, Raychel said, "I think I need an ice cream cone." She had to finish of the horse ride the right way!
We've discovered recently that Raychel has a passion for horses. For Raychel's birthday, my mom hooked her up with a horse ride. A teacher friend she works with owns 5 acres and boards horses in her "spare time." Maggie (the horse owner) was so nice, and Raychel thoroughly enjoyed every minute. Grandma, and Grandpa, I think you might have a farm girl at heart with Raychel! :-)

Such cute pictures! I love how James is smiling. Yes, we all know that he won't just "cheese it" for sake of a picture. It has to be genuine. Remember the picture of us at the A's game? Perfect example.
Looks like you'll have to live in the country some time in the future, or atleast do 4H.
So Cute- Daddy and his girl.
I am so thankful that our kids have good dads. I don't realize how much I miss my girls till I look at your blog. I am so excited to see you guys!!
My sweet little Ray Ray!
Me and the girls had fun too! I'm still working on getting my camera to work on the computer!
