The trip began by visiting our dear friends, the Tureman's. Raychel and I went with Cecilee and Jenna to the Temple open house. Raychel loved it. She was so excited to be able go inside. She kept saying to me, "Mom, I just meeda be baptized." I said, "When you're 8." She said, "But I am 8!" Before went through the Temple, we watched a short little video explaining the purpose of Temples. A picture of Jesus came on the screen, and Raychel says to me, "Mom, there's my friend, Jesus!" It was a neat experience. Anyone can attend a Temple open house. If you ever get the opportunity to go, it's a great experience! Nana made each of the girls their own little treat bag. She wrapped things like gum, M&M's, movies, and books. They all looked forward to opening a new present. It made the drive lots better!
Two cool Chicks.
Friends at the Temple.
Does this picture look familiar? Same setting different year. This was taken on Brian and Cecilee's back porch (just like my default picture from last year). Gotta love Anna and her happy smiling face! Yes, she was mad. Didn't want to take time to smile and pose. Stinker.
So we take off for reunion! We stopped in Idaho Falls for gas, and there was this little "sweet treat" shop next to the gas station. Since it was a miserable 90 something, we thought some ice cream would be a good idea.

They all picked this nasty "play dough" flavor ice cream. They loved it, but I thought it tasted like fake banana flavoring.

We arrive! I must start out by saying that my girls are SO lucky. They have so many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins (and a Grandma and Grandpa) that love them so much. It's so neat to watch my girls get to know their family and fall in love with them. I picked this song for this blog because when you look at the smile on the girl's faces, you can't help but think "What a Wonderful World!" Yes, that might sound cheesy, I know. It's such a wonderful thing to experience life through your children's eyes.
Raven is 11 and a super babysitter! We wish she lived closer! She never tired of spinning around with the girls. They are relentless too!
Jenn, Cortnie and Raychel. Funny story: Today we stopped in Elko for lunch. The decor of the building was western/outdoorsy. There was an arrow on the wall, and Raychel says to me "That's an arrow that we shoot the animals with." I was like, Oh yeah? Who told you that?" She goes, "Robin." Robin is James's oldest sister and Jenn and Cortnie's mom. They love their hunting! I just thought that was so funny she knew that!

"Funny Face" Anyone who watches Yo Gabba Gabba knows the funny face!
Raychel loved going on "hikes." She and James brought me back this lovely bouquet from one of their excursions.

Anna was SO excited to have "MY-AT!" (a hat)

The next generation of Roylance twins. These are James's younger sisters Kimmy and Becky. My twins look as excited as Kimmy and Becky felt about this picture. Thanks for humoring me, guys! :-)
Treasure hunt. Robing organized a treasure hunt one day for the kids. Everyone was running around and scrambling for clues. We were walking along all slow, and Raychel says, "Mom, I meeda run like the big kids." She ran like a seasoned cross country runner! She kept up!
Camping is over and we're exhausted!
